I'm an accomplished procurement leader with over 21 years of cross sector experience, including more than 4 years in consultancy, delivering transformative sourcing solutions across both public and private sectors. I have a proven track record of managing complex, high-value procurements, including multibillion pound programmes, and consistently driving cost savings of between 3% and 55% on every project I work on. I bring expert knowledge of procurement legislation and compliance, including the PCR 2015, the Procurement Act 2023, the Building Safety Act 2022, the Fire Safety Act 2021, and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. I'm equally comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from legal advisors to finance teams, to mitigate risk and ensure strong governance throughout the procurement lifecycle. I'm recognised for combining commercial acumen with analytical rigour to unlock value and build efficient procurement functions that align closely with organisational goals. As part of this, I developed ELK Pi™ (Evolving Lifecycle Key Performance Indicators), a methodology I've pioneered to keep contracts continuously moving toward their intended destination, with KPIs directly aligned to an organisation's 3, 5, and 10-year strategic goals rather than fixed at the outset. It's an approach I haven't seen replicated elsewhere in the sector. I have a strong understanding of embedding ESG and social value into sourcing strategies, including the application of social value frameworks such as TOMs and HACT. I make effective use of e-procurement platforms to enhance transparency and drive stronger supplier performance throughout the tender process.
