Regional Procurement Manager - Leading regional construction procurement for a national public sector framework provider, running compliant call offs and mini competitions end to end for local authorities and housing providers, and advising on complex, high risk construction and building safety procurement.
● As lead procurement, managing more than 100 projects worth over £210 million for more than 60 client organisations since joining, generating around £4.8 million in framework income, spanning fire safety, RAAC remediation, roofing, retrofit, fire doors, higher risk buildings and gas servicing. ● Currently leading a live portfolio of 39 procurements worth £47.4 million, running procurement directly for clients on around 70 per cent and building the full tender pack on over half, including specification writing, ITT development, evaluation, moderation and award. ● Coordinating the full project team on each procurement, from client stakeholders and decision makers to legal, finance, social value, project managers, technical experts, bidders and suppliers, as the lead accountable for a compliant and defensible outcome. ● Advising on construction and statutory risk across JCT and NEC contracts, the Building Safety Act, fire safety, Section 20 consultation and Care Act duties toward vulnerable residents. ● Managing weak market situations, including single bid and zero bid tenders, through route review, market response advice and retender strategy. ● Rewriting post contract KPIs to introduce trigger points and enforceable actions, and developing transactional clients into repeat partners, building the region's largest relationship to seven projects.1
